We welcome you all to visit our new shop.
We have settled in and now getting ready for the Canberra Timber & Working with Wood Show as well as a couple of turnarounds. Lucindale in SA and Phillip Island in Vic.
The Canberra show is always enjoyable as a smaller show , we hope that Tony Abbott does not put any announcements in the paper about job losses for the public sector like last year, certainly put a downer on the show.
Again Theo Haralampou will be demonstrating on the Vicmarc VL240 Lathe so this will be your chance to get up close and personal with this lathe.
Vicmarc have also made changes to their VL200 range of lathes as well as introducing Pen Jaws to suit the VM90/100 chucks

Vicmarc have produced a set of Pen jaws for those pen turners that like to drill their blanks on the lathe.
These jaws suit the VM90/100 scroll chucks.
They come as a pair and give over 40mm of grip to your pen blank.

Changes to the Vicmarc VL200 Lathes
Vicmarc have made changes to their VL200 range of long and short bed lathes.
You still get the great robust castings and the 2hp motors, but the stands have come in for some modifications and you have the option of adding the remote switch box and the knee bar if you require.
What does this mean to you.
With all the changes that Vicmarc have done to the VL200 and VL300 range of lathes have bought the price down to make the decision to purchase a Vicmarc lathe well within the reach of your hip pocket.

Some of you would have seen Guilio Marcolongo demonstrating these tools a the Timber and Working with Wood show.
These are a great addition to your tool kit allowing you to decorate your piece with a simple texture.
