Rotary Sander & Power Sanding

The Rotary Sanders are an easy way of sanding your bowls and platters etc.
They eliminate the lineal lines that you get from hand sanding and also help in blending in your sanding when you have used the power sander.
As with all sanding this should be done at a slower speed than your turning.
You want the abrasive to cut and not burnish the surface.
Power sanding is used with the spindle mount sanders in a drill to give you a more aggresive sanding, the one down side is you get a lot more dust so good ventilation and extraction are a must.
